iConnectHue for Philips Hue App Reviews

Ive used multiple different apps to control my hue bulbs, Ive found this one to be the easiest to use. Its fairly easy to use and set up isnt bad. Highly recommend.

The developers keep improving this app which is important in todays fast-changing connected world. Powerful and in my opinion easier to use than the official Hue app.

I am new to them Phillips Hue lighting system, but live what they can do. I have downloaded and tried several Phillips Hue controlling apps, including the ones by Phillips, and iConnectHue beats them all for my needs. There are some group control interface improvements I think could be made, so my four star rating. But for most everything else its easy, very slick and works as advertised. This is the app I am sticking with for my main Hue controller.

Sometimes I even forget there IS a "real" Hue App. Others have said it better than me. This is simply THE best Hue app out there. Period. Wonderful transitions. Simple color picker. Works with Hue Tap and Hue Dimmer and can even do bridge updates. The* most used app on my phone.

This is a very good app with a ton of excellent features. The dimmer and tap switch control alone makes this a killer app.

I rarely take the time to write a review, but this app more than deserves the attention. The ease of use and ability to control complex combinations of lights and events is perfection. Plus, the ability to add any switches to your notification widget panel is perfect. This app can completely replace the Philips Hue app, including providing firmware updates and adding new lights to your bridge. Given the cost of just one of these lights, its shameful that Philips couldnt write an app this good or isnt willing to buy it out. iConnectHue is worth every penny.

This app is my go to app along with one or two others. This app gets updates with a lot of new features. Its very stable and easy to use. I give props to the owner!

What a breath of fresh air. So many apps try to get home control right, but iConnectHue was the UI winner for me.

Very simple and easy to set up and use. Has all the controls you could really use.

This app is far superior to the Phillips app. Many more options and with all the new animations this app rocks. Yes many features require an additional purchase but you get what you pay for and most of the additional features are worth it.

Ive tried many apps for controlling Hue, and this is the best one out there. Full feature set, nice interface, frequent updates.

Nice app almost everything better than the hue app. One suggestion would it be possible to have a screen that lists all of the timers and alarms. Would be nice to view all the timers one one screen instead of having to go to multiple screens looking for the correct one.

Works most of the time

This app continues to get better and better with each update. The addition of Apple watch features is outstanding! I have a number of apps that work with my Hue lights. This is my go to app and the one I recommend using. The features this app offers is second to none and its super easy to use. The developer responds to questions and suggestions very quickly. If you have Hue lights look no further for an app to control them. If you have an Apple Watch you’ll enjoy it even more.

Does everything that the Hue app should do! A must have for Hue owners.

The icons for individual lights reflect the intensity and color of lightbulbs. This is more helpful than HomeKit apps simple on/off status display. Groups and scenes take a little time to figure out how to set up, but its on par with Philips own app or HomeKit. This app is worth the price, and the extensions to it, offered as in-app purchases, may also be useful to you. None are essential to get it to work correctly, they just add features for edge-case usage.
